Seaview Lion Park is a great place to bring a school group.
The children love to see the big lions and tigers, and also adore walking on our Boardwalk and seeing the younger animals, including our Cape Leopards and crocodile.
It’s a perfect morning or afternoon activity. Cost per person is R14. This applies to adults or children in the school group. The normal entrance fee is R50 for adults and R20 for children.
We have staff who can speak to the children about the animals in: ENGLISH, AFRIKAANS or XHOSA, while taking them on a guided tour. Please state the language required when booking.
The children will learn something of their African Heritage and to reinforce the experience, the teacher will be given a Question and Answer sheet to use while the children have their break, or even back in the classroom.
The entrance to the Park is on Lower Seaview Road. Follow signs from the N2. The Park roads are suitable for private cars or buses.
The children will be able to buy refreshments or souvenirs from their visit.
